OPEN INVITATION TO ATTEND SOUTH COAST MIC CHECK 1 2 TALENT SHOWCASE

Nguwe Wedwa Youth Development Organization is inviting everyone in Durban and surroundings to Umgababa for the South Coast Mic Check 12 Talent Showcase on Saturday the 25th of March 2019 in Umnini Thusong Centre from 12pm.

The Talent Showcase is here to assist our talented youth to get to the next level. The finalists are currently attending rehearsals and have an industry grooming mentorship. The parents are encouraged to avail themselves for the event, even if they do not quite understand what their kids are doing. It would be a great experience for participants but the event would also give parents a glimpse into their children's talents and interests. Nguwe Wedwa believes that families need to support each other, and that no youth can be exploited or find themselves in trouble while pursuing their goals if their family members also posses an understanding of what they are involved in. Nguwe Wedwa encourages grooming well informed artists because when one applies correct knowledge into their lives, there can be no way that their success in their chosen field can be hindered.

Nguwe Wedwa is looking forward to hosting all of you. Entry is free.

South Coast Mic Check 1,2 Finalist Ice Cream

Thabiso aka Ice Cream is a 20 year old Hip Hop artist who uses his mother's laptop to create his own beats and his father's camera to shoot his own music videos. Ice Cream started doing music when he was thirteen years old. Ice Cream wants to be the best hit-maker in the world. He says some people ask him if he really is a Hip Hop artist even though his father is church minister, to which he responds by saying that he is, indeed. He is a music artist. It is not a sin.
